Where Our Ritual Began

Skalpi scalp care ritual

Long before "scalp care" was a category on Sephora's shelves, it was something done at the kitchen table — a mother running her fingers through her daughter's hair, working oil into the scalp before bed. In our family, that ritual didn't have a name. It was just what you did.

Skalpi is a Latina-owned brand, and that tradition is the reason it exists. We didn't set out to invent scalp massage — we set out to make it easier to keep doing, on the days when nobody has an extra twenty minutes to sit at a table.

Modern tools, old wisdom

The Skalpi scalp applicator and scalp care roller aren't a replacement for that generational knowledge — they're a way to carry it forward. The instinct that a healthy scalp comes first was right all along. We just built the tools to make it a two-minute habit instead of a special-occasion ritual.

The oil our mothers used still works. What changed is how much of it reaches the scalp instead of the towel.

Because hair is heritage. And every root is worth being proud of.
